Welcome to THE Reading Space

Reader illustration

It all began years ago, when a book-loving mother decided to teach her child to read with a primer called Rémi et Colette. That first book opened the door to a lifelong fascination with words, stories, and literature.

From there, the love of reading only grew. Sharing books, discussing stories with friends, joining reading groups, and spending time on literary forums naturally led to the creation of this blog—a space for people who understand the thrill of turning the next page.

Here, readers will find honest, unfiltered reflections on books. Every title featured comes from a personal collection, a library card, or a friend’s shelf. There are no review copies, partnerships, or giveaways—just genuine opinions from someone deeply passionate about reading and literature.

Just discovered your blog today—what a lucky find! Your "Month by Month" posts are brilliant. Love your writing on Eric Reinhardt, whose books I discovered last spring. And Antoine Bello? Never heard of him. Can't wait to dive in. Great blog!

I see you don't accept submissions or partnerships... but I really wanted to propose my book "Superglu pour coeur brisé." It's different from what I see here, but it has real stories. Anyway, feeling a bit sad about it. Maybe another time, another way.

Hi Papillon, wishing you all the best with this blog. So far we have zero books in common—which is awesome, you'll introduce me to tons of new titles! Have a great vacation!

Here I am at last! So happy to find you blogging. I can tell I'll be visiting often (already jotted down a few titles).
